A couple of weeks ago Primal MC held another private practice day on the Thunderdome at Calder Park, once again it was a huge success. Rain, hail or shine…
more after the jump!
Here’s myself trying to keep up with Chris, the power difference didn’t really seem to matter until the exit of the corner which made it awesome fun for me
It definitely didn’t take him long to blast past me on the banks of the ‘dome though!
having him chase me in the Cefiro was awesome, I think they were some of my fastest runs of the day and definitely the most fun
Speaking of Gerald, he is keeping up his ballsy, crazy fast and somehow still consistent driving lately! Here he is chasing David in his FC
Gerald has had one of his best runs of luck in a couple of years, smashing out a stack of events so far in 2013. The car is showing the signs of it, it isn’t looking as clean and awesome as it did last year, but I think we can agree that seat time beats blog time all day!
David was throwing down some very fast and aggressive entries all day…
Getting close to the wall on the straight as well!
I was stoked to see Allan back out at a drift day for the first time in ages..
Just as he seemed to be getting back into the swing of things, he had an unfortunate accident, and understeered into the wall up on the bank, ending his day
Old mate Rob was out shredding once again! throwing down some very impressive runs before he scrubbed through his loom and ended his day as well!
Jake was also impressing with some NA thrashing before he had a series of #86lyf dramas to end his day
Mr.Silky Smooth, Anaru was killing it all day, always one of my favourite drivers to watch
Big front wheel lock ups are always a treat to watch!
pulling off impressive entries all day in all weather conditions!
Chris was back in the Cefiro for the first time in over a year, and it was a great reunion. A big change up from his NA r31 daily thats been getting a workout for the last year in the Cefiro’s absence, it didn’t take him long to get used to the car and start pushing his driving right from where he left off the last time he drove it.
Adam seems to have his Type X dialled now and is quickly improving his driving
The car itself is looking very cool, rocking 17″ Rega’s all round with big front camber thanks to S14 LCA’s and not a whole lot of ground clearance!
Muski managed to get some runs in showing improvement from the last time he drove. Snapped offset rack spacers ended his day early
Thanks to Cameron for taking the photos while I was busy driving/smashing longchamps. And a big thanks to the guys at Primal MC for putting together another hugely successful day that ran smoothly, and remained ego free!
